This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist in Targeted Tumor Delivery with deep scientific and technical expertise in antibody therapeutics with a track record of scientific excellence to join our team in Waltham, MA USA. As a Scientist in our Oncology R&D department you will be a key member of a team focused on supporting oncology projects through the drug discovery and development process. You will bring your theoretical and practical expertise in cancer biology to establish assay systems and deliver datasets that will have direct impact on targeted therapeutics.

What Does This Role Involve?
• Working in this laboratory-based position within the Oncology Research group you will develop, design, conduct and analyze in vitro and in vivo experiments to assess the function of our candidate oncology drugs and dissect the mechanism of action of novel therapeutics.
• You will also review emerging literature and internal data to identify and credential new targets and contribute to target validation activities.
• As a highly organized, self-motivated individual with a strong laboratory science background you will stay up to date with relevant technical and intellectual scientific expertise in antibody therapeutics, cancer biology & tumor immunology and have a genuine passion for this field of research.


Essential Skills and Capabilities 
Education
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on cancer biology and/or immunology
Experience
• A strong foundation in antibody therapeutics (preferably antibody-drug conjugates) and in-depth expertise in techniques for assessing their pharmacodynamic properties in biological systems
• Experience working with oncology models (e.g. human and murine cancer cell lines)
• Experience with multi-spectral flow cytometry and visualizing high content multi-parameter flow data
• Molecular biology and biochemistry skills (e.g. qPCR, western blotting, ELISA)
• Cellular imaging techniques
Desirable for the role
• A foundation in immunology / immuno-oncology, and expertise in techniques for the analysis of immune function and phenotype
• Experience with a range of in vitro skills for analysis of human immune cell function
• Master’s degree with cancer biology, pharmacology, immunology or immuno-oncology focus is preferred
