【GA】Regional Health Policy Manager (Eastern Japan Region), Public Policy and Government Affairs

■ 職務内容 / Job Description

This role is responsible for development and execution of AZ's regional policy advocacy and government engagement strategy in an eastern Japan region.
The regional government engagement programs will cover AZ's all theraputic areas, such as oncology, respiratory, immunology, renal, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, and intend to improve patient's access to treatment in regions through regional government's policy changes in each theraputic area.
The role monitors and assesses regional healthcare policy, identifies issues in each thraputic area, and shape engagement strategy with target regional governemnts based on a national roll out plan, which is to be developed in Regonal Healthcare Policy Team.
Based on the strategy, the role engages with regional government officials and its assembly members and key opinon leaders in regional healthcare communities, to advocate issues to be solved in regional government's healthcare policy initiatives, such as government's subsidy to patients, heath screening and patient consultation promotion.
This role internally collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and Medical to mobilize regional KOLs and medical associations, and Patient Advocacy to mobilize regional patient groups.
This role will share progress of engagement and program execution with internal stakeholders in periodic business team meetings for each theraputic area to keep internal stakeholder engagement and obtain their support.
This role will report to Head of Government Affairs & Policy/Regional Health Policy Director.
