Are you a passionate strategic leader who brings market access insights to drive local product access and implement commercial education initiatives at the hospital level?

The Rare Disease Access Partner (RDAP) is a commercial, field-based role focused on developing partnerships and projects within main accounts in a designated therapeutic area.

This role is in charge of Sweden.

What you will do

This position involves engaging with healthcare professionals and payers at the hospital level to ensure local access to our products. A deep understanding of the access system on regional and national levels is critical to support and drive market access initiatives alongside the cross-functional team. RDAPs lead the cross-functional account planning process, ensuring the execution of tactics such as commercial education initiatives, speaker planning, congress strategy, consulting opportunities, and access initiatives. This role requires identifying, planning, and implementing partnerships and solutions to complex business challenges and opportunities.

Key responsibilities include facilitating, designing, and implementing meaningful collaborations and strategic engagements to secure optimal access and uptake of Alexion products, driving advocacy, and inspiring trust between Alexion and external stakeholders. Ultimately, this role strives to shape strategic direction through a deep understanding of regional and account needs, ensuring no patient is left behind.

What we need from you:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in sales, market access or similar role

- Experience of engaging with external experts and payers

- Strong Project Management and strategic thinking skills

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an interest in building strong client relationships

- Experience in one or more of the following fields highly desirable: neurology, hematology, nephrology

- Sound knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and national health system, including aspects of reimbursement of healthcare services (national, regional, patient group, and individual patient level)

- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment where cross-functional collaboration (Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality) is key for success

- Knowledge of medical products distribution process

- Proficient in one Nordic language and English

- High level of ethics and integrity

- Ability to work remotely and travel

- Business or Scientific Degree, completed by LIF Education or equivalent
