DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES   

1.Provide medical and scientific information to internal and external customers  20%

Read and review current literature accordingly when deemed necessary.

Prepare and regularly maintain medical knowledge per MI team level project needs.

Provide accurate, current medical information to external customers according to aligned process and project base. Responsible to QC of inquiry handling.

Response customers’ inquiry with timely, clear, concise, balanced response if need

Continually read/search for current information on the therapeutic area/disease and regularly share with internal stakeholders

Build medical education content according to organization needs 

2. Content management 25%

Create appropriate content to educate HCPs and patients

Get right permission/copyright to use any kind of medical document. 

Manage medical documents in system, ensure documents compliance and up-to-date

Follow local and global guidance on content management

Content quality is high enough which is welcomed by internal and external users

0 fatal error in Wechat content delivery (wrong information, attacking to competitor etc. 

3. Collect new disease and treatment, new drug information and share with HCP timely in scientific and balance way to help HCP get up-to-date scientific information and explore the multi-channel to meet HCP’s unmet needs   20%

Explore new channels and models to support multi-channel medical strategy and strengthen scientific leadership.

Develop the Medical engagement materials which meet HCPs scientific needs

Provide accurate, current medical information to external customers

Use of web based resources to more efficiently communicate with customers. Make optimal use of technology.

Provide the customized medical services to KOL

Leverage WeChat as a core channel to deliver the scientific information to HCPs

Edit and deliver Medical Information and Medical Newsletter on a timely manner

Develop and maintain own professional expertise on therapeutic trends

Continually contribute to the China HCP portal and ensure the information update timely

4. Explore and execute precise and measurable medical education project 35%

Collaborate with internal and external partner to explore precise and measurable medical project, engage more HCPs with multi- channel ways.

Job requirements 

Academic / Professional qualification 

Bachelor degree or above in a health-related field (Pharmacy, Medicine)

Technical / skill training

1. Skill of literature retrieval

2. Strategic thinking

3. Analytical skills

4. Cross functional coordination experience

5. Pharmaceutical industry or related experience is preferred

Working experience (No. of years , Job function , Business types  )

Essential 

1. At least 2-year experience in hospital or MI related work in pharmaceutical company

2. General physician experience is preferred

3. Proficient in oral and written communication (English)

4. Excel skill and data analysis skill is necessary

Desirable 

> 2 years’ experience on medical information work and > 2 years’ GP experience with good communication and strong implementation

Language ability

Be proficient in oral and written business English and Chinese

Computer literacy

Fluent user in MC office & Outlook

Others 

1. >2 year working experience in multinational pharmaceutical industry is better

2. Good communication and collaboration

3. Quick learning ability
