As a Brand Executive, you will be leading and assisting the Brand Managers in the implementation of marketing strategies of assigned products. 

What you’ll do

Development and implementation of marketing strategies

  • Collate necessary data for pricing, patient, competitor, market and customer for market analysis
  • conduct and completing market analysis ensuring data for patient, competitor, market and customer has been incorporated in developing pricing, positioning and communication strategies, forecasting and inventory strategies
  • draft strategy and convert strategy elements into a workable operational plan
  • support brand manager on Line Extension life cycle management
  • plan and organize marketing activities for assigned product related events/projects such as PR activities, conferences, association meetings/dinners, Key External Experts development programs, hospital/Blue Book listing, etc
  • Monitor and measure implementation of the plan against agreed measures i.e. Market growth, market share
  • Monitoring of marketing expense, stock levels and samples allocation
  • Tracking of activities and sponsorships committed
  • Testing of promotional materials of assigned products and provide feedback to Brand Manager
  • Assist in completing financial cycle review and business review templates

Customer relationship management

  • Develop professional relationship with customers and key stakeholders
  • Have a good understanding of the customers’ needs and always strive to meet/exceed customers’ expectations, within reasonable limit
  • Attend to request for product information or other enquiries and takes actions as advised, in meeting these request

  • Resilience: Remaining positive and persisting in the pursuit of goals despite challenges or setbacks
  • Learning agility: Adopting a growth mindset and aspiring to continually reskill e.g. embracing scientific and TA knowledge

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor degree in any field, preferably science related
  • Minimum 2 years’ medical sales experience with proven track record of performance
  • Good track record of customer orientation
  • Able to work independently and in team
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively to achieve results
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with people at all levels

Desirable for the role

  • Ability to adapt quickly and flexibility in a fast-paced learning environment
  • Broad understanding of the commercial, operational and strategic aspects of the business
  • Marketing project experience is a plus
