About the Opportunity:
Are you ready to shape the future of organizational strategy in a rapidly evolving environment? As the Organization Effectiveness Lead at AstraZeneca, you'll be at the forefront of transforming our business strategy into actionable plans that drive value across the organization.
Partnering with business and HR leaders, you'll assess our current state and operating model, guiding us through the integration of AI technologies and ensuring a harmonious balance between technological advancement and human expertise. Your insights will be pivotal in navigating the transformational impact of AI on our workforce, processes, and structures. Reporting directly to the Organization Effectiveness Practice Director, you'll lead high-impact projects that enhance our competitive edge in an AI-enhanced business landscape.
Accountabilities:
Collaborate with HR business partners and AstraZeneca leaders to identify high-value OD/OE opportunities that drive enterprise success.
Drive strategic capability effectiveness, including assessing AI readiness and integration strategies.
Support organizational adaptation to AI implementation, focusing on workforce planning, role redesign, and change management.
Advise on human-in-the-loop strategies to ensure appropriate oversight in AI-enabled workflows.
Bring external insights and industry trends to enhance AstraZeneca's organization.
Build linkages across the organization, designing work for future needs rather than current structures.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of experience leading organizational change, either internally or through consulting
Strong understanding of AI technologies and their implications for organizational design, workforce planning, and human-AI collaboration
Proven ability to assess organizational readiness and design interventions that support transformation
Experience working in global, matrixed, and multicultural environments
Ability to conduct complex organizational analyses and translate insights into clear OE/OD strategies
Strong consulting skills, including diagnosing issues, shaping solutions, and enabling capability building
Skilled at influencing senior leaders and managing stakeholder expectations
Demonstrated success in leading projects independently and navigating ambiguity
Ability to coach and advise HR and business leaders on organization challenges, including role redesign and AI-enabled ways of working
High learning agility, integrity, and sound judgment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Enterprise mindset with ability to integrate across functions, geographies, and HR practices
Desirable for the Role:
Management Consulting experience
Advanced degree and/or professional certifications preferred
MBA or Master’s in Organization Effectiveness or behavior or equivalent experience (i.e., BS with 8 – 12 years of OD experience)
