Introduction to role

In a moment of complete transformation, we need to grasp and boost the power of Innovation and Digital Strategy (IDS) to translate them into knowledge and impact on the healthcare ecosystem.

This training contract role (6-12 months) is key to help transform the company towards a holistic view of the needs of the healthcare system and patients.

You will perform an in-depth understanding of the impact of data-driven decision-making, prioritizing business actions aimed at improving performance, activity, dynamism, and competitiveness indicators. This role will lay the foundations for generating insights that help transform AZ’s business model, facilitating its implementation and monitoring through different systems and processes, contributing to the achievement of company objectives.

Accountabilities

Ownership of the Call Plan loading process in the Global AZAP tool
- Advise and provide technical support to different functions to ensure the correct loading of the Call Plan in the system.
- Generate solutions in the event of technical tool failure, identify the most common and critical errors, and coordinate with Global for problem escalation, as well as de-escalation of measures.
- Lead the refinement/adjustments in the tool.
- Coordinate with BEX BPs to ensure all necessary information provided by them is ready in time according to the schedule.
- Effectively communicate to different commercial teams regarding adjustment times in the tool, as well as feedback on the status of Call Plan approval.

Coordination of commercial field force data loading in AZ systems (Veeva, Reltio, OneData,…)
- Lead the process to ensure the correct loading of hierarchical structure data from commercial teams in different MC systems.
- Be responsible for the correct data loading in Veeva for additions and removals of HCPs.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the reporting process in the Veeva tool, in coordination with the Tech & Data processes team.
- Ensure continuous improvement of data analysis in line with AZ standards.
- Identify and understand key process and tool challenges and propose solutions to optimize data analysis.
- Create and maintain budget buckets in VeeVa for each BU aligned with each role.
- Allocate budget to these buckets in coordination with each RBD/BAM's requirements.
- Generate budget tracking reports in VeeVa for commercial teams.
- Support commercial teams in incidents regarding bucket and report loading.
- Carry out checks in Reltio to ensure data accuracy.
- Manage HCPs consents removals.

- Support the creation of a data-driven decision-making approach throughout the organization.
- Generate a high level of responsibility in implementing and cascading the work model and execution deadlines.
- Contribute to CoE performance with deep analytical knowledge to ensure rigor in analyzed data.
- Promote a customer-centered approach.
- Instill a strong and competitive digital mindset throughout the team, projects, and communications.

Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply within AZ's framework.
- Project AZ's corporate image and values in relationships with internal or external clients.

Essential Skills/Experience

- Master's or Bachelor's Degree ended within the last 3 years
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or similar.
- Digital Mindset. High level of Spanish and English: B2/C1 or equivalent.
- Computer skills: Expert level in Office. Use of analytical visualization platforms (PowerBI, MicroStrategy, or similar).
- Demonstrable ability to handle large volumes of data, relate information from different sources, and draw conclusions from the analysis of such information.
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and cross-functional leadership.
- Good technical problem-solving skills and support for commercial networks.

Desirable Skills/Experience
- Ability to work in highly demanding transformation ecosystems.
- Relevant master's degree in data science, business management, or similar.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects.
- Experience in handling DATAVIEW, Veeva, PowerBI.
