What you’ll do

We currently have an opportunity to join our AccessAZ Team as an Access Program Associate.  In this role you will receive training to deliver client services relating to patient access programs.  You will act as the liaison between AZ, health care professionals and other external stakeholders managing and coordinating access programs and offering guidance on the process for requesting access to AZ medicines, within Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities will include storing and maintaining documentation integrity, complying with privacy laws, and identifying and reporting suspected adverse events. This position offers diversity and challenge as you work across several programs.  This rewarding and challenging role presents a unique opportunity to advance your career whilst truly making a difference for patients.

This is a Sydney based role in a permanent part time (3 days per week) capacity, reporting to the Access Program Manager.

Essential for the role

  • Advanced communication and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Process orientated with a strong focus on compliance

  • Proven track record in establishing strong external and internal relationships through effective communication, influence, and collaborative networking

  • Agile mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities

  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and skill development, maintaining high ethical and professional standards

  • strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and preferably exposure to working with databases

Desirable for the role

  • You have a patient focused background, preferably a Pharmacy or Health Science related degree is preferred
