What you’ll do

This is a contract opportunity in either part or full time capacity to be a nominated signatory, who shares their medical compliance expertise with their teams and provides the final approval across a range of material for the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Company (AZANZ). This includes specified promotional materials or non-promotional materials, meetings and activities (such as market research, external funding requests and patient support programs), interactions with Health Care Professionals (HCP) and Health Care Organisations (HCO) and other related areas such as non-promotional health education materials.

As a member of the dedicated Medical Compliance Team and with a dotted line to the therapy area aligned Associate Medical Director, this role is an integral part of AZ brand teams. This is an important responsibility undertaken on behalf of the Company. It adds value to the Company and reflects the importance of doing business in a compliant and ethical manner and the AstraZeneca values of “Doing the right thing” and “We are entrepreneurial”.

Essential for the role

  • Degree Qualified, from within Pharmacy/Science/Medical area

  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience in a medical compliance or equivalent role

  • Medicines Australia Code of Conduct Module completed and passed

  • Knowledge of relevant local legislation

  • Ability to research, critically evaluate and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to a broad range of audiences
