The logistics teams are responsible for leading the distribution of all products, delivered through +1200 routes around the world. That’s 100% of AZ’s commercial shipments between points in the supply chain, from international freight logistics right through to in-country distribution; getting medicines from factory to customer.

As a Logistics Analyst, Process Controlled Transportation (secondment/FTC until end 2022) you will be part of a logistics team that will establish and maintain the global standards and processes for the transportation and storage of all AstraZeneca pharmaceutical product, per product label temperature requirements.

You will support Global & Regional teams in co-ordinating complaints management, compliance monitoring, risk management and other activities associated with the operation of the global network according to a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, biennial or ad hoc cycle of events.

What you'll do

Process and investigate supply and logistics and temperature excursion complaints.

You will work with Supply Sites and Logistics Service Providers to identify root cause analysis and implement any corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare a number of reports which will include complaints handling performance reports and complaints trending reports. You will also present findings from these reports to the PCT team to support continuous process improvement.

You will also undertake compliance monitoring support to regional & global logistics and logistics quality leaders.

Ensure you manage your workload to ensure the timely resolution of complaints.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working in logistics

  • Proven analytical skills

  • Good problem solving / investigational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal & communications skills

  • Good understanding of the business context ie logistics, shipping, freight management, Good Distribution Practices.

  • Intermediate proficient Microsoft skills

  • Fluent in English

Desirable requirements

  • Working knowledge of the GCM (Global Complaints Management) system ideally related to S&L and TE complaints
