ABOUT THE ROLE
You are expected to have experience in codifying complex data science models, leverage native AI/ML capabilities of platforms such as AWS & GCP, data extraction and transformation practices.
Ideal candidate would have a Omnichannel marketing/advertising background or at least be extremely insight focused and commercial.
As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible and accountable for the work you and your team deliver. You will be expected to help mentor others, review code, and provide best practices to ensure that we deliver the best quality product possible.
It is not necessary that you have expertise in all of the following, but here are a few skills we are looking for in a person for this role, learning new technology is part of that. However, you must have deep technical skills and a long history of writing code.
• Develop and implement new, advanced data science & AI solutions by exploiting native AI capabilities of platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce, AWS, GCP
• Design and develop custom algorithms where required or augment to enhance native capabilities
• Undertake POC to prove art of possible
• Codifying complex models provided by data scientist
• Implement Document AI models
• Implement Complex business rule (deterministic) to support journey orchestration
• Working closely with the wider insight & data COE
• Ensuring best practice to work with a variety of large data sets from various sources
• Lead a team of engineers – providing mentorship, training and support
Essential Abilities, Skills and Experience
• Advanced SQL and, R and/or Python
• Exposure to Cloud based machine learning services e.g. AWS sagemaker, AWS Personalise, Google AI, Document AI
• Web Analytics knowledge and use of Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
• Experience working with business rule engines e.g. Red hat or similar e.g Pega
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Experience with campaign management tools and data management are desirable but not essential (Tealium, Salesforce, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Audience Manager)
• Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL data stores, storage and distributed persistence technologies
• Understanding Complex statistical modelling – testing and execution
