Key Account Manager – Rare Diseases

Covering South Moravia and Vysocina region

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible  to establish and continuously develop relationships with key institutional customers of AZ in a given region and within respective therapy area, effectively manage (key account management) to deliver goals set up for each period, engage with customers through AZ valid and approved mix of engagement channels to build continuously long term relationship with customer and to deepen customers’ insights,  seek business opportunities for the company's products and provide economic information for operational and strategic decision-making, effectively shares information and insights gathered during interactions with customers and collaborates cross-functionally with franchise team colleagues.  Promote selected AZ products, plan and effectively executes activities supporting effective disease awareness, early diagnosis, and treatment initiation in accordance with valid product SmPC, provide special marketing programs in accordance with plan. Coordinate sales activities for institutional customers. Reports KPIs defined by Business Unit in accordance with required quality and timing. Monitor and report competitive activities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defining /redefining primary and secondary targeted key customers in a given region on a regular basis and in accordance with Business Unit/Therapy Area strategy
  • Establishing and continuously developing relationships with targeted customers in the region
  • Mapping the needs and profile of targeted customers based on continuous gathering of customers ‘insights.
  • Leveraging of available and approved AZ communication channels for engagement with customers in accordance with customer profile, preferences, and strategy
  • Plans, executes, and flexibly adapts sales activities supporting achievement of strategy and delivery assigned sales targets defined in Sales Incentive Plan
  • Analysis of the region in terms of sales potential and planning and execution of activities to leverage identified potential at its maximum for AZ products  .
  • Promote defined AZ products in accordance with approved materials and smpc and continuously increases disease awareness and diagnosis in accordance with Business Unit/Therapy Area strategy.
  • Cooperation with Product Managers or similar Marketing roles within Business Unit on planning and execution of marketing activities supporting achievement of sales targets of respective targeted products.
  • Provide regular feedback on provided marketing activities and support in accordance with customers ‘feedback to increase effectiveness of marketing support.
  • Promotion of selected AZ products (determined by the manager of Business Unit)
  • Cross-functional active and effective collaboration with entire Business Unit team colleagues regardless role, e.g. Medical Advisor, Marketing, Market Access etc.
  • Processing or collaboration on preparation of special sales offers where needed (business events, public contracts, demand management, etc.)  
  • or creating/maintaining functioning cooperation with key customers
  • For effective communication in relation to MSR, HM and SM on business activities in their region
  • For timely and accurate information about business opportunities and risks for AZ business in the vested region
  • For periodic analysis of AZ's position in its region and search for business opportunities and risks
  • For effective use of found business opportunities and fulfillment of sales plan to targeted institutional customers
  • Proceed in accordance with the business plan and the current sales strategy
  •  For the management of entrusted funds (operational and investment means)
  • In cooperation with other AZ departments and partners in the regions (HM, MSR, SM)
  • In cooperation with Logistic Manager and Business Specialist responsible for processing business offers, ensuring logistics and sales support of AZ products when/where needed
