Within GBS Commercial Operations (GCO), the Commercial Reporting & Analytics (CRA) team provides scaled, operational reporting and analytics capabilities and services to the commercial business units.
The Director is responsible for building an ongoing relationship with the Oncology Business Unit (US and Global OBU) and partnering with them to develop an enduring roadmap for establishing and managing GCO’s reporting and analytics services.
Serving as a US-OBU commercial reporting Subject Matter Expert that understands and anticipates how reports and data connect to business decision-making for various partner types.
Continuously assessing the internal and external environment to represent leading trends and practices associated with reporting software and tools, report production, visualization techniques, distribution methodologies, and how information provided in reports is used for analytics and insight generation.
Building effective and collaborative relationships with commercial partners (Business Excellence, USIA, Finance, and Medical) through the establishment of forums, communities of practice, or informal discussion to understand current state report utilization and the degree to which reports are meeting or exceeding client expectations, and identification of requirements that can address improvement opportunities.
Working with the senior Director CRA to build and articulate a clear strategic vision for the team, providing clarity on the underpinning capabilities and value proposition of the team and use to influence business partners.
In addition to business partnering, working across the Enabling Functions including Commercial IT and US OBU Data Management to establish and maintain a reporting roadmap that describes a future vision for how reports will meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
Collaborating in a cross-functional governance committee to review, evaluate, and prioritize how identified issues and newly requested enhancements associated with commercial data and reporting will be addressed.
Overseeing report development and ensure a seamless transition to a business-as-usual report delivery team.
Taking action to drive report adoption and continued utilization of new commercial reports through a combination of tactics including forums, meetings, training sessions, and other support resources.
Setting direction, collaborating with, and monitoring both nearshore and offshore delivery in partnership with our delivery centres to deliver on operational strategies.
Demonstrating comprehensive understanding and application of all relevant AZ policies and procedures and ensure all client engagement aligns with appropriate AZ Code of Conduct.
Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years’ experience working in a role associated with Reporting, Analytics, and/or Data Management or a related Field.
Proven experience working with report visualizations and data management at a detailed level.
Experience using digital marketing channels to achieve marketing goals.
Ability to handle multiple projects running in parallel.
Proven experience driving outcomes while managing a team.
Project management experience including risk mitigation and planning.
Ability to influence, motivate, and inspire change.
Proven track record working across functions with a high level of commitment and follow through.
Excellent interpersonal, team working, presentation, and negotiating skills.
Demonstrated experience in problem solving and continuous improvement.
MBA in a relevant field (marketing, business, strategy, etc.)
3-4 years Pharmaceutical Brand Marketing experience
Experience working with Power BI or other AZ development platforms such as Databricks.
Relevant experience around Commercial Reporting Insourcing from 3rd party OSP’s
