What you’ll do

We are currently looking for a Finance and Compliance Manager, to be part of our Senior Leadership Team in our operations site, Cikarang.  This position will report directly to Operations Director.

The Finance and Compliance Manager Will have expert knowledge of finance processes and procedures as applied to a major department/ functional area and or part of the business. Will have an expert knowledge of the function/business area in which they sit and be able to facilitate the efficient use of financial processes and measurement to meet business direction and need. Will implement and influence the setting of the financial strategy. Will have professional financial skills extensive experience of applying financial solutions in a business environment. Will contribute in Compliance matters and projects across the Site.

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Manages finance delivery in a geographic or equivalent area, delivering Finance programmes and plans that support the organisation’s objectives and incorporate the mid to long term business and Finance strategic priorities

  • Oversees others to deliver core Finance processes

  • Works with management to understand business priorities and tailor finance support to local requirements

  • Monitors performance, identifying and resolving any issues regarding finance delivery

  • Provides input to longer term development and improvement of AstraZeneca finance policy and programme design 

  • Manages Finance resource requirements to deliver organisational Finance objectives and enable successful execution of day-to-day Finance programme delivery

  • Partner with and provide guidance to the Site Leadership Team (SLT) and other business partners, to ensure robust governance and compliance processes and systems are in place

  • Provide advice to compliance questions and being in charge for compliance-related projects (eg. audit)

  • Highly numerate

  • Independent and collaborate worker

  • Developed commercial and analytical skills

  • Professional Finance qualification

  • High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion

Desirable for the role

  • Specialist financial qualification to support general financial qualifications

  • Experience / background / qualification in Compliance area
