Enterprise Data & AI Services (ED&AIS) is a new central IT function accountable for enterprise strategy and standards in Data and AI engineering, enabling services, information data architecture as well as the delivery of data provisioning services and AI product delivery for the enterprise. The organization works closely with Data & AI delivery teams across Business Technology Group (BTG) teams and data governance teams from Business Data Offices, supporting the build of the AstraZeneca Data Mesh products and analytical solutions. Key organizational accountabilities include:
Identifying and delivery of effective easy to use Data & AI services such as Cataloguing, Privacy, Unification, Profiling, Data Quality, Engineering Orchestration, AI Ops, Model Registries etc.
Ensuring, through Information Architecture, that the resultant data products are FAIR by design enabling effective re-use
Functional data provision and data product delivery to LoB/ BTG teams to functional and global standards and policies ensuring compliant and secure data assets (working with LoB Data Offices)
Leading the delivery of advanced AI products in NLP, Computer Vision, Recommendation Engines and Predictive Modelling, supporting BTG/ LoB teams in tech solution selection, product build and the run of business-critical AI solutions
Leading the strategy of and innovation in Data & AI technology for the enterprise, working closely with Enterprise Architecture and Tech Innovation teams
Reporting to the Programme Lead, the candidate will be accountable for (but not limited to) the following activities:
Supporting the portfolio, operational and financial processes, to ensure that there is accurate information on the:
ED&AI Portfolio, including the Demand pipeline, services and projects
Workforce Data
Financial position, including forecast vs spend, accruals and recharges
Ensures reporting documentation is updated and escalates deadlines and outstanding actions to Project Managers
Creating an environment that promotes collaboration within and across teams.
Demonstrate deep and broad domain experience to promote credible, innovative solutions and proposals
Typical Accountabilities
Coordinates preparation of internal and external reports through gathering, analysing and summarizing data and information from the project managers
Ensures compliance and supports the tracking of the financial processes, e.g. accruals, recharges
Supports the tracking of benefits information relating to the projects
Ensures the production of reports or analyses, to meet quality standards, and provides interpretation of data
Reconciles figures or information from various sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and follow-up on discrepancies
Ensures coordination of the different business areas involved on a project and ensures adherence to deadlines
Supports the preparation of a budget and forecast reports to ensure projects align with initial cost specifications
Responsible for gathering input from the business analysts and project mangers to develop and maintain the detailed project schedules
Provides support for Contract and Vendor Management, through Coupa and 3PRM
Education, Qualifications and Experience
Essential
Relevant Technical or equivalent degree
Proven skills and experience in tracking project portfolio and programme budgets
Experience in creating Reports and Dashboards
Service Management Knowledge/ Experience
Good understanding of Service Now
Basic understanding on Project Management Methodology / exposure to SDLC processes and artefacts and basic understanding on Agile / Scrum.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Experience working in a global organization where stakeholders and project team members are geographically dispersed
