Strategic Planning Lead

As Strategic Planning Lead, you will lead business operations, participate in, or lead strategic access projects and handle regular business updates. Working closely with the leadership team in facilitating the execution of cross-functional and organisational initiatives as well as internal and external communications strategy to optimize engagement within GMAP, and outside of AstraZeneca.
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in fast-paced environment, efficiently coping with change and providing strategic business planning recommendations without complete information.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Support LT with content and project management input for priority projects and critical initiatives, supervising all actions and reporting directly to GMAP LT on progress
Refine and lead the GMAP business planning processes to be industry leading and look for opportunities to simplify; processes include:
Compliance for external activities
Budget management and tracking
Procurement support and vendor service offerings
GMAP/Enterprise knowledge and resources portal
Coordination of appropriate pipeline insight for country teams
Support long term planning and quarterly business review processes
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to craft an external agenda through developing and driving an external communications strategy for the Market Access team
Work with Head of Payer Engagement and PAs to coordinate LT and team events (e.g., External speaking engagements, Town Halls) as needed
Partner with HR Business Partner and Capabilities Director to ensure functional team building and team engagement activities are built into agendas
Experience and Qualifications
Understanding/experience of Pharmaceutical Pricing and Market Access
Bachelor's degree in scientific/technical field
Confirmed strong project and process management and delivery expertise
Experience working with forecasts, budgets, financial processes, and tools
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority
