Introduction to Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Product Manager! In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring that the products envisioned will deliver actual user value and that products we are building is delivering business value.    

As a product manager you will typically focus on four key areas: Customer Design, Product Vision, Product Development and Team efficiency. You will lead the efforts to effectively bring product management, design and engineering together to solve prioritized business problems and master the art of measuring the business impact. 

The successful candidate is someone who can work at the highest strategic level while simultaneously considering all the tactical details. The Product Manager we are looking for needs an in-depth and nuanced understanding of the needs of their customers and the business. You possess the ability to get beneath the surface of what people say to understand what people really need. 

Accountabilities:

  • Translates business strategy into product strategy to ensure that the product delivers business value 
  • Defines clear success metrics for the product and measures result 
  • Define analytics to measure usage / adoption 
  • Performs discovery to understand opportunities 
  • Develops and refines a clear and transparent prioritisation model to ensure the team is building the right things in the right order 
  • Develops hypotheses for product features, and runs experiments to validate those features 
  • Develops and be responsible for the product roadmap 
  • Writes product requirements in the form of User Stories and Epics 
  • Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market 
  • Plan and carry out product launches 
  • Crafts an inclusive and collaborative team environment 
  • Manage product profitability and commercial success – owns the business case 
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market 

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Significant experience, preferably at the intersection of Life Science and Product development. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience in product management. Experience in UX / design is desirable. 
  • Technical Competence coupled with Critical thinking / Business Analysis 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage cross-functional teams. 
  • Outstanding communication and social skills, and able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative analysis abilities. 
  • Approach dedicated to delivering market-ready products in a corporate setting, with a proven track record. 
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
