Business Analyst, Global Pricing Implementation
Introduction to role:
This role is based in Barcelona, with an on-site commitment of three days a week. Fluency in English is required.

As a Business Analyst for Global Pricing Implementation (GPI), you'll be at the heart of driving creative pricing solutions to ensure patient access to our medicines globally. You'll support the three GPI teams—GMAP, OMAP, and RDU International—by being their primary IT point of contact. This role is all about collaboration, innovation, and making a difference.
Accountabilities:
In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with both the Market Access IT Support Team and the GPI teams. You'll be considered an integral member of these teams, requiring excellent technical reporting skills and a deep understanding of the pricing and access environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operational:
- Providing "Tier 1" technical support for PRICE-related queries, diagnosing incidents before escalating to Model N.
- Leading regular support calls with GPI teams and Model N.
- Verifying incident responses from Model N before communicating resolutions to GPI teams.
- Keeping work-procedures up to date.
Project:
- Coordinating planning, testing, releases, and communication between Business and Model N for yearly application upgrades.
- Managing testing, training, and communication for Commercial IT projects related to GPI.
- Acting as the first point of contact with other IT parts for projects impacting GPI.
Business Analysis:
- Understanding the PRICE system's modules used by GPI and providing best practice guidance.
- Organizing regular "ways of working" calls with GPI to share learning and harmonize processes.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance PRICE and related systems, proposing solutions for capability gaps.
- Documenting requirements for enhancements or new capabilities in groomed user-stories.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and liaise effectively within the IT team.
- Engagement, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of virtual collaboration.
- Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar required.
- Experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Model N GPM Platform.
- Knowledge and understanding of pricing and market access principles and environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Power BI.
- Knowledge and understanding of core AI tools.
- Formal certification in business analysis.
- Experience of working in a global organization with complex/geographical co-text.
- Practical usage of Agile Methodology.
