Product Manager for Lung Cancer, Oncology
Introduction to role:
The Product Manager for Lung cancer in Oncology is responsible for the development and execution of the Brand Strategic Plan (BSP) to drive market share growth and achieve promotion targets for the allocated product or therapeutic area. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze market data, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate effectively with customers.
Accountabilities
Planning:
- Develop BSP and strategies based on the analysis and research of market data, aligning with product strategies and positioning.
- Execute the BSP in the correct direction through timely cross-functional collaboration and customer communication.
Marketing & Product Management:
- Establish relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and relevant policymakers.
- Plan, allocate, and implement BSP for all responsible products – current and new.
- Conduct market research to understand the market, competitors, and brand positioning.
- Contribute to field force training on product, product positioning, and key messages.
- Attend regular sales meetings and joint calls.
- Maintain cross-functional communication and collaboration with Medical, Market Access & Government Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and other departments.
Financial Management:
- Forecast, plan, allocate, and manage budget to maximize resource allocation and ROI.
- Understand disease pathology, how it impacts the patient, and where AstraZeneca’s products best fit during the treatment process.
- Identify patients ideally suited to AstraZeneca’s products through focused discussions on customer's patient lists with HCPs.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of patients’ needs.
- Improve the patient experience and long-term value creation.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as required by the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related field
- At least 5 years of pharmaceutical experience; Oncology/Specialty care experiences will be an advantage
- At least 2-3 years of marketing experience
- Experience managing complex projects
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Thai
- Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
