We have an exciting opportunity for a Data andReporting Analyst to join our Cambridge Site Operations Team, to further develop our reporting processes to ensure specific business questions can be answered with relevant insight that help to inform decisions, impacting the workplace strategy.

The role will be responsible for determining the source data for reporting processes; from gathering the information available and validating the  key data points across the Customer and Site Services (C&SS) functions.

Data capture and reporting trends will be reviewed as part of the full year cycle allowing an understanding of existing occupancy trends in our current estate as well as contributing to the planning and mobilisation of the new R&D facility and Global HQ, located at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC).

Key Accountabilities:

In the role of Data and Reporting Analyst you will:

  • Act as a coordinator for data capture, reporting and analytics processes across C&SS service streams.

  • Further develop and govern UK South data gathering processes; creating data standards, data collection procedures and building utilisation patterns.

  • Lead C&SS user requirement specification for data capture, and reporting needs across current and future Cambridge Site Operations footprint and processes – with particular a focus on our new R&D Centre access control process, protocols and standards.

  • Actively seek to identify and anticipate future data capture and reporting needs and look to continually improve data capture and delivery methods, automating where possible.

    • Determine a catalogue of stakeholder requirements throughout the estate

    • Define and prioritise ad-hoc requests raised by the business

  • Identify data gaps across current and future estate ensuring maximum insight can be gathered across the access control infrastructure, booking capability, and amenity utilisation data.

  • Be a key voice in development of all C&SS processes and data sources, liaising with suppliers and team members to build knowledge of how data is produced, and ensuring a accurate reporting methodology. Challenging data anomalies and trends, and ensuring that processes adhere to AZ Data Standards.

  • Provide SRM teams with useable reporting to be integrated into and enhance KPI infrastructure that helps manage overall user experience.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for all data capture and reporting related processes and analysis.

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and supply partners alike.

To be successful in this role we believe the following are essential;

  • Relevant experience of working in a facilities management environment.

  • Previous success in identifying, planning, implementing and executing reporting solutions for programmes.

  • Effective communication skills among senior stakeholders, and relationship building skills at all levels.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment involving varying priorities and schedules.

  • Experience of a governance framework and matrix organisation.

  • High levels of drive, energy and resilience with ability to take the initiative.

  • Ability to work well in diverse teams and proven aptitude to influence others to achieve positive outcomes.

A project management qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
