The Competitive Intelligence and Analysis team sits at the heart of developing commercial and clinical strategy and has an impact on decision-making at the highest levels. In this role, join us as part of a high performing Strategy Team, bearing responsibility for ensuring the decisions we make with our pipeline assets best position us for maximum return on investment and positive patient outcomes.

As such, you will be shaping strategy and influencing critical investment decisions by delivering industry-leading analysis and insights to Senior Leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure a full understanding of the rapidly evolving oncology landscape.

What you’ll do

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Working with a team of specialists, you will lead the delivery of competitive analysis, using knowledge of the therapy area and external resources to shape future-proofed therapy area (TA) strategies. You will drive in-depth analysis of clinical and commercial data, generating and communicating critical insights on key issues to provide transparency and respectful challenge to key decision makers. Given there is a range of stakeholders, you will have an opportunity to influence strategy though your intellectual agility and communication skills, building a network of trusted relationships.

This role will require moderate global travel (medical congresses and key internal meetings)

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Analysis and fact-based decision-making
  • Working with data and / or in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Post-graduate degree is desired, qualified in life sciences, biological or social sciences
  • A critical, innovative thinker with a background in oncology, clinical / research or investment analysis
  • Highly intellectual with excellent analytical skills and learning agility
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams with ability to influence without authority
  • A clear communicator with the ability to communicate complex issues simply
  • Resourceful, motivated, decisive and proactive; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization

Desirable Requirements

  • Educated to PhD or MBA level
  • In-depth understanding of clinical data, clinical trial design or regulatory frameworks
