We have an opportunity for a Clinical Development Senior Director to join our Clinical Development team!

The Senior Director of Policies is responsible for the management of either one principal function, or a geographical area within the span of Clinical Development. Has a significant input to the regional/functional clinical strategy and some input to the global clinical development strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Accountablefor global clinical policies that support all pipeline and marketed products.  These policies include pre-approval and post-trial accessto therapy, bioethics, publications,exploratory & extension studies among others
  • Drive cross-functional input into the regional/functional clinical strategy and approves policies and procedures that contribute to this strategy
  • Contributes development and maintenance of the R&D Process Governance Framework
  • Ensures consistency and alignment in the management of procedural documentation and related training.  Collaborates with other members of the Governance Board, process-related roles, and functional support
  • Manages either one principal function within the Clinical Development area, or a geographical area within the span of Clinical Development
  • Monitor performance and risk mitigation strategies on the assigned global policy area against standards and targets in areas such as administrative efficiency, quality, and legal compliance,
  • Provide oversight and ensure  execution of that tactical leadership decisions are enforced in order for the business to achieve its objectives
  • Leads, guides, evaluates, and develops the Clinical Development functional team to ensure that the area achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area
  • Mastery of Clinical Development area and multi-disciplinary experience (cross-functional or functional)
