Luton is home to our UK Marketing Company (UKMC), responsible for the marketing of our medicines in the UK. Key Responsibilities

  • To be the clinical expert delivering medical insight and governance into projects and activities supporting the Business Development and Cornerstone portfolio, in order to meet product and/or Therapy Area objectives, including Due Diligence activities.  
  • To transition key Business Development projects into Medical Affairs as the medical and data expert
  • To act as Nominated Signatory for medical team
  • Act to ensure GCP requirements are fully complied with and in line with the local Quality Management System (QMS) SOP and all other AZ policies and Standards

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

  • Evidence of effective team working and accountability
  • Extensive patient and customer insight through experience in the NHS
  • Evidence of effective team working and accountability
  • It is mandatory for the performance of this role to hold or successfully acquire Nominated Signatory status. You are required to gain Nominated Signatory status within 6 months of commencing your role. You are also required to pass re-validation testing every 12- 24 months or as requested

Desirable:

  • Technical expertise in the allocated disease/therapy area
  • Understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice
  • Proven ability to interact with external customers
