Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Data Capabilities, the Enterprise Data Governance Manager will define, implement and maintain data governance standards, approach and practices across the Enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for establishing and maintainingdata governance standards and practices across the Enterprise.

  • Lead partnering across data domain owners in the implementation of data governance standards and management of changes acrossCommercial, Medical, and Patient domains.

  • Chair bi-weekly Data Governance forum, ensuring representation of relevant data domain owners based on agenda.

  • Engagement Lead in Global & Regional Data Governance programs, representing Canada.

  • Ensure compliance of data storage and reporting with established data privacy, security and compliance guidelines. 

  • Accountable for audit and assurance processes to ensure compliance with established guidelines.

  • Accountable to establish integration principles & approach across Commercial, Medical & Patient data to ensure compliance across enterprise reporting.

  • Lead data readiness in support of Launch Excellence, ensuring timely availability of brand and market data.

  • Leadthe development of data and reporting governance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely availability of data across the organization.

  • Onboard and train partners within the organization in key governance roles as part of the Enterprise Data Governance model for governing data and report assets across the organization

Qualifications

  • University Degree or Higher in a relevant field 

  • 5+years of experience in a Data Governance, Master data managements, or business Intelligence role

  • Experience with data lineage, data cataloging, and data policy implementation

  • Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and best practices

  • Exposure to data governance or data management tools an asset

  • Ability to identify problems/opportunities, analyze root cause, and provide recommendations

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identifyand raise business risks associated with non-compliance of data governance processes

  • Exceptional customer management skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in easy-to understand language

  • Highly proficient in Excel, MS Office

  • Experience with IQVIA and Patient data an asset
