Change leadership and change management capability are key success factors in delivering on R&D transformation and ORD strategic priority agenda.
Come and join our ORD Program Management Office (PMO) where you will play a pivotal role in this exciting period of development!
What you’ll do;
Lead the development and evolution of the overall change management capability, including framework, standards and guidelines for the successful implementation of change across all programs within the PMO portfolio
Focus on building a joined-up view of change across ORD and creating clarity to illustrate where people are impacted by the different but parallel initiatives
Champion the consistent deployment and management of change within ORD, and will look to establish a cohesive support model for change,
Work with Senior Leaders across AZ to coach and improve business change capability - ensuring that the impact on people and process is considered and planned,
- Use your knowledge and experience to support the development of change practitioners and championsacross the ORD organization over time
The role reports into the Head ofPMO in the Oncology R&D, Chief Operating Office.
Accountabilities
- Establish the change management strategy and deploy change management plan for ORD including developing a robust change management capability more broadly
Engage with and work across AZ to champion the consistent deployment and management of change for key R&D transformational programs, ORD LT Strategic Priorities and Functional initiatives; ensure integrated change management approach in concert with program and process management activities
Lead the development / evolution of the overall change management framework, standards and guidelines for the successful implementation of change across all programmes within the PMO portfolio.
Develop a consistent, yet flexible change toolkit and governance approach that is based on best practice
Coach key individuals involved in transformation to improve business change capability and define the strategy and plan for capability build.
Collate lessons learned on change management from projects to inform continuous improvement
Contribute torelevant networks and Change Management AZ community of practice
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in business or scientific field
Minimum of 8 years experience in this field
Expertisein change management capability build, with a proven track record of delivering successful change projects
Experience building change management strategy, framework and trainings
Demonstrate strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
Strong networking/consulting skills with good internal/external links
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business
Proven track record in delivering high risk programme/projects and decision making
Ability to convince and manage negotiations across a complex group
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal qualifications in change management, project management, and/or process improvement methodologies; Masters in Business Administration or equivalent degree
Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
Pharmaceutical R&D experience
