We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join the Manufacturing Finance Team at North Ryde:

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Site Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for playing a critical role in our business. Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner of the business, driving accountability to achieve business objectives with rigor whilst being valued by Finance colleagues and working collaboratively.
  • Business strategy and decision support, challenge key forecasting assumptions and deliver expert financial analysis of performance, forecasts, key risks, and sensitivities.  
  • Provide financial support on scenario planning/investment decisions.
  • Drive the budget and forecast activity on-site with the collaboration of the offshore finance team.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure financial results accurately reflect performance and lead the change to drive performance improvement.
  • Improve business acumen across sites and partner with businesses to drive business benefits.
  • Reinforce financial control framework activities in identified areas and drive accountability and results.
  • Working with other Finance team members to drive consistency in the approach to data, files, analysis, and reporting.

Essential for the role

  • Qualified finance professional (or equivalent).
  • Experience in Finance Business Partnering.
  • Experience working in a global pharmaceutical organisation/understanding of the drug development life cycle and/or commercial aspects.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including oral & written.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of global and corporate business context.
  • Experience in SAP and Excel to support business decision-making (budgeting, forecasting & modelling).

Desirable for the role

  • Worked in a finance team in a manufacturing facility.
