Job Summary

The Associate Analyst will be part of PT&D support team (under Develop) based out of GTC Chennai. The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in their domain and in-depth technical knowledge in the Java and DevOps concepts. The candidate should have proven expertise in building and supporting Java based applications.

Role and Responsibilities

• As an Application Support Analyst, you be responsible for resolving any technical issues reported by the business users and delivering all enhancements as required by business users.

• Proactive analysis, validation & fixing of business technical issues

• Monitoring applications, systems & interfaces

• Adopting DevOps methods which includes automating builds, containerisation and moving towards CI/CD for both specific and COTS applications

Essential Skills and experience

• Technical hands on experience in Core Java, J2EE, Angular JS, Spring, Sprint boot, Rest API, Maven

• Technical hands on experience in Oracle database

• Technical hands on with Ansible, Jenkins, artifactory, Docker and Kubernetes

• Exposure to IDE’s like Eclipse

• Good understanding of SDLC process

• Experience in Life Sciences Industry

• Exposure to validated systems and good documentation practice

• Superb communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent spoken and written English language skills

• Should be able to grasp and understand new technology and concepts. Proactive approach to problem solving

• Ability to prioritize and understand sense of urgency

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
